Launched originally as Labatt Légère, Labatt 50 Light was Québec’s first light beer (1980). Labatt “50” Légère is a lower alcohol, lower calorie version of Labatt “50” and is fermented as a true ale using special ale yeast and choice North American ale hop. The result is a good balance of dryness, complemented by a fruity taste as well as a unique hop flavour.
