Labatt – brewers of Québec’s favourite beer

Labatt’s beer has been available in Québec since 1878, when the company established a small facility in Montréal. Today, Labatt brews Québec’s favourite beer, Labatt Bleue, and operates 45 distribution centres across the province.

Labatt’s Québec operations originated in 1878 when a small distribution centre was opened in east-end Montréal to handle beer produced at the company’s London brewery.
As the population grew, so did the popularity of Labatt beer across the province. In 1956, Labatt opened its Ville LaSalle brewery near Montréal. The LaSalle brewery is the largest facility of its kind in Canada with 5 production lines.
