Labatt’s western market encompasses British Columbia and the Yukon. Our B.C. brewery, The Columbia Brewery in Creston, traces its heritage to the Fort Steele Brewery established in the Kootenays in 1898.
The Columbia Brewery is the only brewery in Canada which brews Kokanee, Kokanee Light, Kokanee Gold, Kootenay Mountain Ale and Kootenay True Ale.

Proudly supporting mountain sports, Kokanee is the title sponsor of the largest freeride mountainbike festival in the world – Kokanee Crankworx in Whistler/Blackcomb. |

Kokanee also supports the World Ski & Snowboard Festival in Whistler/Blackcomb, as well as many other sporting events at regional mountains in British Columbia. |

In addition, the company supports the annual fundraiser “Dining Out for Life” with participating restaurants in the Vancouver and Vancouver Island areas. Funds are raised to help local charities focused on supporting people living with HIV/AIDS. |
