Environmental Health & Safety Policy

The Labatt Canada Environmental, Health, & Safety Policy was developed by the EHS department, and is fully recognized, supported and enforced by Labatt’s senior management. The Policy is adhered to nationally by all Labatt operating centres and is communicated to all Labatt affiliates.

Labatt’s commitment to the EHS Policy has led to the development of an Environmental Management System. This ensures the complete integration of environmental and safety considerations into everyday business practices. This EMS ensures that environmental, health and safety goals and objectives are set in accordance with past performance, in order to facilitate continuous improvement.

Labatt also recognizes its impact on its external surroundings. As a result, communicating with government authorities and the community is of great importance. Labatt recognizes the value of being an open and honest company with all of its stakeholders and is continuously seeking new ways to collaborate.

Labatt employees take pride in being largely responsible for Labatt meeting or exceeding its EHS targets. All Labatt personnel are responsible for practicing, recording and being aware of sound environmental and safety practices. While Labatt is committed to providing all necessary resources and training, it is Labatt’s employees who make the difference.
